Key personnel J. Lopez, PE, Neil Sherer, Donald Crawford, and Martin Perea designed the lighting and electrical systems to renovate an existing city park to add new sports lighting, pedestrian pathways, and water feature park. Lopez Engineering, Inc. (LEI) personnel worked with lighting manufacturer (Musco) to design high mast sports lighting fixtures (Metal Halide) for softball and soccer fields in a city park. LEI provided LED pole light fixture design for pedestrian pathway.
LEI coordinated with Imperial County utility for new 480Y/277V, 3Ø, 4W service entrance by providing lighting design (metal halide) for existing basketball court utilizing existing 25’ poles, electrical design for new support building (water feature control panel, pumps, lighting, security equipment), security camera infrastructure for cameras on new shade structure and light poles and prepared Title 24 exterior lighting calculations.
